Suspect in Nipsey Hussle’s killing has been charged with murder

LOS ANGELES- The man suspected of killing rapper Nipsey Hussle, whose real name is  has been charged with his murder.

Eric Holder, 29, was charged on Thursday with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.  Los Angeles county prosecutors filed these charges.

Holder, who is allegedly an active crip member, as Nipsey Hussle was, knew the rapper and actually had a few conversations with him before the shooting.

According to the streets, Nipsey told Holder that he thought he was a snitch and didn’t want him hanging around his store, “Marathon clothing” on Sunday. That’s when Holder allegedly came back and shot Nipsey, along with his two friends. Holder was a passenger in a car that was driven by a female who eventually turned herself into police.

Police are confirming that Nipsey and Holder had a disagreement before the shooting, but are not giving out the full details.

He’s currently being held on $5 million bail and faces life in prison if convicted.

The other two men that were shot are being treated.
