Suspect in pregnant woman’s murder is unborn baby’s father

FLORIDA- A 19-year-old man accused of murdering a 9-month-old pregnant woman has been arrested after turning himself into police.

Reginald Perry Jr. turned himself in after investigators made him a prime suspect in the case.

The body of 21-year-old Felicia Jones was found by someone walking in a park near a dock on Sept. 25, police say. She was pronounced dead on the scene by first responders.

An autopsy determined that Jones had been fatally shot while pregnant. She was due to give birth two weeks before she was killed.

There is no clear motive.
