BUFFALO, NY- The man accused of targeting black people at a Tops supermarket that left 10 people dead has been charged.
Payton S. Gendron, 18, was arraigned in court on murder charges Saturday, according to reports.
Gendron, who livestreamed the deadly attack, pleaded guilty and is being held without bail, reports The New York Times. A felony hearing has been scheduled for May 19, according to the DA’s office.
Authorities say the attack was racially motivated.
