Suspects Charged In Rapper Young Dolph’s Murder Could Face Death Penalty

MEMPHIS (WMC) – Two suspects accused of murdering rapper Young Dolph were arraigned in court on Wednesday.

Justin Johnson, 23, and Cornelius Smith, 32, are facing the death penalty if prosecutors seek it. Both suspects could also face life sentences.

Smith and Johnson are facing charges of first-degree murder, attempted murder, using a firearm during a dangerous felony, being felons in possession and theft of more than $10,000.

Both men are charged with killing Young Dolph at Makeda’s Cookies on Nov. 17.
