Suzanne Somers, Star Of ‘Three’s Company’ Dies At 76 After Battle With Cancer

Suzanne Somers, who starred in “Three’s Company” and became a fitness icon and advocate has died after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Somers died on Saturday; a day shy of her 77th birthday, her publicist R. Couri Hay confirmed with NBC News.

She was most famous for her role as Chrissy Snow on the beloved 1970’s sitcom “Three’s Company.”

Somers was fired from the show after she asked for a salary equal to the show’s actor John Ritter.

Somers was diagnosed with skin cancer in her 30’s and was then then diagnosed with breast cancer in her 50’s.
