LOS ANGELES- A 17-year-old boy accused of fatally shooting rapper PnB Rock was released from jail just days before the deadly incident.
The juvenile, who was arrested in connection to the rapper’s death on Sept. 12, was released from prison several days before for illegal possession of a firearm possession days before the rapper was killed, a source tells Fox News Digital.
The teen was released from prison under the condition of electronic monitoring. He was arrested on Sept. 3 and charged with illegal possession of a weapon, according to the source.
He has three priors that include illegal possession of a firearm.
The teen, his father, Freddie Lee Trone, 40, and his stepmother were all arrested in connection to the rapper’s death. Freddie was nabbed last week in Las Vegas, after being in the run.
Pnb Rock was killed Sept. 12 as he was eating at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles with his girlfriend in South L.A. when he was killed.
Authorities say the teen is responsible for killing the rapper.
