COLORADO- A 16-year-old boy has been charged as an adult in the death of a homeless man in July.
Benjamin Zwahlen, 16, was arrested in the fatal stabbing of 58-year-old Todd Stout.
Police found Stout dead on July 5, under a bridge where he was living. Surveillance footage allegedly shows Zwahlen getting out of a SUV and parking near the bridge at the time of Stout’s death.
Zwahlen is allegedly then seen walking in the direction where Stout was found dead, returning to his car and driving away.
Authorities say they gathered enough evidence to charge Zwahlen for the murder of Stout.
Zwahlen is currently in juvenile detention and being held without bond.
There is no clear motive for the killing.
