SAN ANTONIO- A teen girl, who filmed her 3-year-old brother smoking Marijuana, has been arrested, along with her boyfriend.
Larissa Contreras, 18, and her boyfriend, Thomas Rey Esquivel, 19, were arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child on Thursday.
The charge is a felony.
Contreras posted a video of her 3-year-old brother smoking a blunt on social media last Saturday, while he was sitting on someone’s lap inside of a car.
KTSA reports that Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, said that he had received the video from a local non-profit worker on Monday, which showed Contreras and others encouraging her brother to smoke the blunt.
The caption on the video read “lol n***a smoking a black”.
The toddler became ill, after inhaling the Marijuana, but didn’t suffer any life-threatening injuries.
Contreras was supposed to be taking care of her brother, while their parents were at a family gathering. The parents weren’t charged, and the boy is now safe at home.
