DETROIT- 19-year-old Devon Kareem Robinson was convicted on Tuesday for the murders of two gay men and a transgender woman.
Robinson was convicted of first-degree premeditated murder, assault with intent to murder and felony firearm.
Robinson was at house party in May of 2019 with the victims when authorities say that he targeted 21-year-old Alunte Davis and 20-year-olds Timothy Blancher and Paris Cameron for being trans and gay.
Robinson shot and killed all three victims in the living room of the home where the house party was taking place.
He didn’t stop his rampage there. Robinson also allegedly shot two other people who were injured but luckily survived.
Robinson will return to court on April 13th, where he’ll be most likely be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
