GA- A teen girl was stabbed to death in what authorities are saying was a gang intuition.
According to People, police say they received a call on Wednesday about a teen attempting to find his girlfriend, who went missing.
Police say that Janina Valenzuela was on her bike as her boyfriend was next to her when a 15-year-old male walked towards them with a knife in his hand.
Valenzuela was somehow separated from her boyfriend. He told police that he had searched for 2 hours, but couldn’t find her.
Police later found Valenzuela’s body in a creek.
15-year-old Brayan Rivas confessed to police that he had stabbed Valenzuela in what was part of an initiation into the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) criminal street gang.
Rivas was booked on one count of murder, one count of concealing the death of another, one count of aggravated assault. He’s currently being held without bond.
