FLORIDA- A teen girl used the dating app ‘Plenty Of Fish’ to lure an innocent man into being robbed by her friends.
Ja’Kila Taylor, 18, made a fake profile on the dating app, telling the victim that her name was “Keke”.
According to police, Taylor told the 31-year-old male victim to pick up some food from McDonald’s for her and then meet her at her home.
After picking up Taylor in his vehicle, police say that Taylor immediately hopped out, telling him that she had to take a phone call. It was then that two males came up to the victims vehicle, beating him over the head with a gun, while allegedly telling him to “give it up.”
The victim got free, and began to run for his life, when he was shot in his chest. He ran to a local home, covered in blood, telling them he had just been shot and robbed and they called police.
The suspects fled the scene, and police are searching for them.
It’s unclear whether the victim is currently alive.
Detectives tracked Taylor down at her High School by her fake dating profile.
She admitted to police that she helped her friend from her school set the victim up.
She’s been charged with with attempted homicide and robbery with a firearm, while being held on $15,000 bond. Her next court date is set for March 2nd.
Was it really worth? What a shame..
