PHILADELPHIA- A 16-year-old boy was shot 10 times and killed on Tuesday as he was walking home from his McDonald’s shift with his twin sister.
Police say the victim, Ahjaon Jackson, and his sister got out of a Lyft outside of their home after working their shifts around 11 p.m. when two gunmen approached the teen.
According to police, the gunmen fired at least 15 shots at close range, striking the teen in the head, chest and back. His sister wasn’t shot.
Jackson was taken to a Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police found a gun on the sidewalk where Jackson was shot, but it’s unclear who the gun belonged to.
Police say there were three male suspects who were dressed all in black clothes and had masks on.
Jackson is believed to be the intended target, but there is no motive for the shooting.
