FLORIDA- A teenage boy has been charged after killing his mother, and burying her body over bad grades.
Gregory Ramos, now 17, was 15-years-old in 2018 when he into a fight with his mother over a “D” grade, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Ramos confessed to police that he strangled his mother, 46-year-old Gail Cleavenger, called two of friends to help him bury her body and stage a fake robbery at his home.
Ramos was charged as an adult.
Ramos plead guilty on Wednesday to first-degree murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
Ramos is facing 45 years in prison for his murder charge alone. He will be on probation for the rest of his life when released.
