A 19 year old mother has been arrested for allegedly killing her 4 month old baby.
Jenna Folwell was arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail in Phoenix, Arizona on one count of first-degree murder after police found the body of her 4 month old baby inside of a duffel bag in her home. According to (KTAR), court documents reveal that Folwell admitted to drowning her 4 month old son in her bathtub.
Folwell had put the baby’s body in a duffel bag and drove him to a nearby park where she reported a false kidnapping. She told police on Wednesday that a man had put a bag over her head and took her baby while she tried to put him inside of her vehicle.
Folwell was charged with murder before police found the baby’s body.
Police also say that upon looking into her phones search history, they found over 100 searches ranging from topics of how long does it take to drown a baby to sudden infant death syndrome. She later admitted to these searches.
Folwell will be appearing in court on on November 1st.
