Tekash69 is cooperating with Feds; pleads guilty to 9 felony counts and admits to committing crimes as a blood gang member

Rapper Tekashi69, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, has pleaded guilty to nine felony counts and is cooperating with police.

Hernandez has pleaded guilty to nine gun, racketeering and drug charges according to to unsealed documents that were revealed on Friday.

Tekashi69 said “In the fall of 2017, I met and joined the Nine Trey Blood Gang. As a member of Nine Trey, the enterprise engaged in such activities including shooting at people, robbing people, and at times drug trafficking.”

This took place at a secret plea hearing in Manhattan Federal Court on January 23rd. He’s facing a minimum prison sentence of 47 years in prison, but for his cooperation, he could get less.

He added that on March 20, 2018, he “helped members of NineTrey attempt to kill a rival gang member”, and he also said that he helped some of his fellow gang members rob a rival.

He told the court “I apologize to the Court, to anyone who was hurt, to my family, friends and fans for what I have done and who I have let down.”

Tekahi was arrested in November, along with nine other members of the 9 Trey crew for shootings, drug-dealing, robberies, and havoc he caused between 2017 and 2018.
