NEW YORK, N.Y.- The two men who were convicted of kidnapping rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine are asking the judge to drop their guilty verdicts.
Anthony “Harv” Ellson and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack are saying the reason why they want their guilty verdicts tossed out is because Tekashi 6ix9ine was lying on the stand.
“Hernandez simply had no credibility, especially in light of the fact that he orchestrated a bizarre series of events that culminated in him taking pictures at a hospital after the alleged kidnapping which he then immediately sent to TMZ,” Ellison’s lawyers Devereaux Cannick and Calvin Scholar wrote to Manhattan federal court Judge Paul Engelmayer according to Page Six.
Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez told jurors that Ellison kidnapped him after a video shoot, pistol whipped him and then stole his $95,000 “My Little Pony” chain.
Tekashi’s sentencing will take place this month.
