Terrence Malick to executive produce Lil Peep documentry

The filmmaker behind “Thin Red Line” and “Badlands” is executive producing a documentary about the late rapper Lil Peep.

According to the New York Times, Terrence Malick, who happens to be friends with the late rapper’s mother Liza Womack, will be the executive producer in a documentary about the life of Lil Peep. There may also be a soundtrack to the documentary.

Lil Peep’s estate reportedly has a three-album deal with his record label, Columbia records. His ‘Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt.2″ will be released on November 9th. His latest released song was “Falling Rain”, which was a collab with XxxTentacion, who was murdered a few months back in Miami.

Lil Peep’s mother wasn’t very happy about the song, especially his crew the GothBoiClique because of the violent reputation that XxxTentacion left behind.

Lil Peep, born Gustav Ahr, died at the age of 21 when he accidentally overdosed on Fentanyl and Heroin. His drug dealer wasn’t arrested for his death but was arrested and charged several weeks ago in connection to the death of a woman who he allegedly gave drugs too.

He met the woman after a celebration of Lil Peep’s life in Long Island.
