FLORIDA- A man dressed up as Spider Man is accused of robbing a woman outside o f a restaurant after she asked to take a photo with him, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said.
Police say Lequan Payne, 36, was dressed in the black version of Spider Man (Known as the black suit) with a mask on as he was loitering on Monday, reports Local 10.
The 58-year-old woman was walking home after finishing her laundry when Payne hit her in the back of the head stole $46, police said. Payne fled the scene but was later arrested.
Payne was charged with robbery and resisting arrest.
