Three men are now in custody after federal and local authorities arrested them in connection to rapper Young Dolph’s fatal shooting.

The three male suspects arrested in connection to the rapper’s killing are Cornelius Smith, 32, Shondale Barnett, 27, and Justin Johnson, 23.

Authorities said additional arrests could possibly be made as the investigation into the Memphis rapper’s death continues, according to Memphis Police Chief C.J. Davis, reports CNN.

The 36-year-old rapper was fatally shot on Nov. 17, 2021, after two men jumped out of a Mercedes-Benz while he was at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies.
Barnett was arrested Tuesday. Authorities say he was a passenger in the vehicle Johnson was driving that same day.
Barnett faces charges of accessory after the fact first-degree murder for allegedly “providing assistance” to Johnson, the US Marshals Service and Shelby County District Attorney’s office said Wednesday.
