TEXAS- A mother and her 18-month-old were shot when a toddler accidentally fired a gun outside of a Walmart, police say.
Polic say the 2-year-old grabbed a gun from between a seat and a center console, and accidentally fired the gun Wednesday, striking his mother and his younger sibling.
The 23-year-old mother was standing outside the truck while the father was at the rear of the vehicle.
The toddler and mother were rushed to a hospital. Both were later released.
The younger sibling was shot in his arm and the mother had a bullet that went through her arm and then chest.
No other injuries were reported, and police haven’t charged anyone.
