When police arrived at the scene, they found an unidentified adult male with his foot on the brake. He appeared to have died from gunshot wounds, police said, according to KHOU-TV.
The toddler was found safe.
There is motive for the killing, but police believe the victim knew his killer.
It’s unclear how the toddler is related to the victim and there is an ongoing investigation.
