Tory Lanez Says He Never “Apologized” For Shooting Megan Thee Stallion In Court

LOS ANGELES- Singer Tory Lanez says he never “apologized” for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in court Tuesday before his sentencing.

Yikes..

The Canadian-born rapper and singer released a statement on his Instagram, maintaining his innocence, saying he has only taken responsibility for “all verbal and intimate moments” that he shared with those involved,” but not for shooting Megan.

“I have never let a hard time intimidate me, I will never let no jail time eliminate me, “he wrote. Regardless of how they try to spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and I always will.”

“This week in court I took responsibility for all verbal and intimate moments that I shared with the parties involved…. That’s it.”

Tory goes on, claiming he was wrongfully convicted.

“In no way shape or form was I apologizing for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of. I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do.”

He finished his lengthy statement by saying:

“To my family, friends and umbrellas thank you for your continued support.” He added “See you soon.”

Tory was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Tuesday for shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

Tory Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was convicted in December of assault with a semi-automatic firearm and two other felonies.
