Travis Scott will joining Maroon 5 for the Super Bowl halftime show.
According to TMZ, the ‘Astroworld” rapper may not be the only rapper to join Maroon 5.
Reports say that Cardi B may also be in talks to join the band as well as Big Boi from Outkast. Cardi B of course is on Maroon 5’s hit song ‘Girls Like You.”
There have a lot of backlash over surrounding Maroon 5 performing, and they have had some problems getting artist to join them due to the controversy stemming from artist and other celebrities boycotting the NFL, for “punishing” Colin Kaepernick for taking a stance against police brutality by taking a kneel.
Jay-Z and Rihanna turned down offers to appear at this years Super bowl’s halftime, along with comedian Amy Schumer.
Cardi B herself during a concert a few months back, expressed how the NFL was treating Kaepernick was wrong, so if she were to perform, I guess it’s all about the benjamins, huh?
The Super Bowl will taking place on Feb. 3, 2019, in Atlanta.
