CHICAGO – A trial date has been set for the five men accused of killing rapper FBG Duck.
The five alleged gang members accused of killing the Chicago rapper in broad daylight will go to trial in the Fall of 2023, a federal judge ordered Wednesday, reports WGN-TV.
U.S District Judge Martha Pacold set Oct. 2, 2023 as the date for the men charged in the August 2020 fatal shooting of FBG Duck.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Julien said the trial is expected to last four weeks, according to WGN-TV.
The five defendants in the case, Kenneth Roberson, Charles Liggins, Tacarlos Offerd, Christopher Thomas and Marcus Smith are each charged with murder in aid of racketeering, assaults in aid of racketeering and firearms violations.
