Trial For Rapper XXXTentacion’s Accused Killers Set To Begin This Week

FLORIDA- Jury selection is still ongoing for the trail of three men who allegedly killed rapper XXXTentacion, which is set to begin this week, according to reports.

The trial is set to begin this week, four years after the 20-year-old rapper was killed during a robbery.

XXXTentacion, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy, was leaving Riva Motorsports in Fort Lauderdale on June 18, 2008, with a friend, when his BMW was blocked by an SUV.

Two masked gunmen confronted the rapper on the driver’s side and one of the men shot him. It’s believed that XXXTentacion put up a fight before he was shot.

As XXXTentacion was dying, the suspects stole his Louis Vuitton bag, which contained $50,000 in cash that he had withdrawn earlier from a bank and fled the scene in a SUV.

XXXTentancion was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

He was facing assault charges before his death, for allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend.
