Trump pardons Death Row Records co-founder Michael ‘Harry O’ Harris

Trump commuted the prison sentence of Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry O” Harris for attempted murder and cocaine trafficking on Tuesday, according to The New York Post.

Weldon Angelos, who was pardoned by Trump in Dec. told the newspaper that Harris, 59, emailed him from the Federal Correctional Institution Lompoc in California, writing “Thank God. God is great. It feels like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders.”

Rapper Snoop Dogg played a huge role in helping Harris receive his pardon, as he lobbied with the White House on behalf of Harris, despite him publicly expressing his dislike for Trump.

Angelos also told The New York Post that he gives credit to Ivanka Trump for helping release Harris 7 years before his scheduled release date, which would’ve been June 13, 2028.
