MARYLAND- Twin sisters have been charged in connection to the murder of their teenage brother, who was found strangled to death in 2017, police say.
Leaundra and Lemae Matthews, 23, were two of three people who were charged after new evidence.
Daniel Howard, 25, was also charged.
All three have been charged with first-degree murder, according to local reports.
Their arrests come a year after Tysean Lipford, 24, who is Leaundra Mattew’s children’s father, was sentenced to 30 years in prison after he admitted to choking Christian Matthews to death inside of the home that he shared with his sister.
According to court docs, Leaundra Matthews texted Lipford, asking him to kill her brother, after he allegedly threatened her and her child. She told her ex that her brother had to “go”, reports Fox 5.
Howard allegedly held Matthews down, as Lipford choked him to death.
Leaundra allegedly admitted to her mother that she killed her brother with no remorse.
All three are being held without bond.
