TEXAS- Two twins escaped their house of horrors after allegedly enduring torture from their mother and her younger boyfriend.
Zaikiya Duncan, 40, and her boyfriend, Jova Terrell, 27, are accused of beating, handcuffing, pouring bleach down the throats of the 16-year-old boy and girl and forcing them to eat their own feces and drink their urine, according to court docs obtained by KHOU-TV.
Police say the kids were held captive in their home.
The horrific abuse didn’t stop there. The twins told police that they were also beat with metal poles, forced to drink household cleaners and ingest dozens of Benadryl tablets.
The teens were visibly malnourished and had multiple scars all over their body from beatings.
They were able to escape after finding the keys to their handcuffs. After going to several houses, a woman finally opened her door to them and called 911.
The couple face charges of injury to a child.
