CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA)- Police in Florida arrested two men who got into a very heated argument that landed one in the Hospital and it was because of the late rapper Tupac.
Clearwater Police say that they received several 911 calls on Wednesday night about a fight. When they arrived on the scene, they found an intoxicated man, who had face injuries that included bruised swollen eyes.
The man was taken to a nearby Hospital where he was treated for injuries and a broken nose.
There were several witnesses at the party who told police that the man who was responsible for causing the the other man’s injuries was 35-year-old Thomas Statkiewicz. He admitted to police that he was “defending” himself and did punch the man several times after the victim attempted to punch him over an argument over Tupac.
Statkiewicz was arrested for felony battery.
