FLORIDA- Two sisters were dead inside of a Florida canal, and now their mother is a person of interest, police say.
Daysha Hogan,7, and Destiny, 9 were last seen swimming in the canal on Monday, police said in a news conference Wednesday.
The girls mother, Tinessa Hogan, 36, contacted police to report them missing, but she was seen with them the day they went missing, and is now a person of interest.
Hogan was seen by at the canal on Monday, swimming with her daughters. She was carrying a bible and asked a neighbor if she could baptize her children, the neighbor declined her bizarre offer.
Hogan has been contacted, but police say she’s on the run and they’re searching for her.
There is no cause of death for the girls as of now.
