ST. LOUIS- Two young cousins are dead in what police are calling a murder-suicide after they were playing with a gun while on Instagram Live during a birthday party, police say.
Kuaron Harvey, 14, and Paris Harvey, 12, were streaming live on Instagram around 2 am Friday when Paris was playing with the gun that fired a shot into her cousin, according to reports.
She then took the gun and shot herself.
Both were pronounced dead on the scene.
The girl’s mother, Shinise Harvey, told The St. Louis Post-Dispatch “It was no murder. It wasn’t a suicide.”
There is still an ongoing investigation. It’s also unclear if any charges will be made.
