ARIZONA- An Uber driver was arrested on Monday for sexually assaulting a female passenger who was intoxicated.
According to NBC12, Mark Anthony Taylor, 30, picked the woman up from a house party early Saturday morning.
The victims friend told authorities that she spoke with Taylor, before putting the woman into his car and told him that her friend was “extremely intoxicated”.
The victim’s friend got a “weird feeling” as she was looking at the Uber app, and noticed that the driver was circling nearby neighborhoods. The vehicle then stopped at an address that wasn’t the victims destination and the ride was listed as completed anyway.
The victims friend went to the location, and found Taylor with his pants off, and the victim naked.
Taylor admitted to police that he did have sex with the victim, and acknowledged that she was intoxicated.
He remains in jail, without bail.
