An unidentified victim from rapper Travis Scott’s Astroworld music festival has been identified as a Washington State college student.
The 21-year-old student’s photo was shared by Houton police, and he was identified as Axel Acosta by his father. Acosta was a computer-science student at Western Washington State and had traveled alone to go to the deadly festival.
Acosta was one out of eight people who were killed at the concert on Nov. 5. when other fans trampled them, attempting to rush the stage.
The ages of the victims range from 14 to 27. Hundreds of others were injured at the festival, Houston PD say.
