BROOKLYN- Up & coming rapper Supa Gates has died after being fatally shot.
The Brooklyn drill rapper, whose real name is Aaron Williams, was shot multiple times as he sat in the passenger seat of a parked Mercedes in Crown Heights on April 11, The New Daily News reported.
The 28-year-old rapper died Thursday from his injuries at a Hospital, despite the fact that he was conscious and alert while there.
According to the newspaper, Williams mother said his first performance was set to take place July 5.
Supa was featured in The Source magazine, and was compared to the late Brooklyn drill rapper Pop Smoke because of his deepened voice. His song “Yellow Bentley” was played on Drake’s Ovo Sound Radio Show.
Police haven’t made any arrests.
