(Update) Rapper PNB Rock Dies After Being Shot In Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES- Rapper PNB Rock has died after he was shot inside of a Roscoes & Chicken Monday afternoon.

The 30-year-old Philly rapper, whose real name is Rakim Allen, was shot “multiple times” at the restaurant located on Manchester Boulevard during a robbery around 1:15 p.m. local time.

“The victim was eating at the table when he was approached by one suspect,” LAPD Officer Norma Eiseman told Rolling Stone.

The suspect “demanded items” from PNB Rock. The suspect then “removed some items from the victim” before entering a waiting vehicle and fleeing the scene.

He was pronounced dead at 1:59 p.m.

Cellphone footage of him dying in a pool of his own blood at the restaurant has gone viral on social media.

Police say he was targeted because of his jewelry.
