(UPDATE) – Rapper Wavy Navy Pooh died from a drive-by shooting, according to police.
Police officers say the 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is Shandler Beaubien, was driving a Toyota Camry at an intersection when another vehicle pulled up beside him and fired 15 shots in the driver’s door, reports WSVN.
Beaubien was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were three other passengers, a woman and two children. Police say they were not harmed.
Wavy Navy Pooh was signed to Quality Control, home to artists like The Migos, Lil Baby and more.
