SALT LAKE CITY- Utah football player Aaron Lowe was killed during a house party on Sunday, police say.
Salt Lake City police said in a statement that Lowe, 21, was shot and killed as shots were fired around 12:20 a.m. at the home.
He was pronounced at the scene.
An unidentified female was also shot and was placed in critical condition.
Utah football head coach Kyle Whittingham called Lowe’s death “devastating” and said the Texas native “will be deeply missed.”
There have been no arrests and there is an ongoing investigation.
