LOS ANGELES- A jury sided with Vanessa Bryant in her lawsuit against Los Angeles County over allegations that photos of the crash scene where shared among county officials and riled that the county must pay her $16 million.
Bryant and Christopher Chester sued Los Angeles County, with her attorneys claiming that “close-up photos” were shared on multiple devices within the sheriff’s and fire department and members to the public.
Bryant’s invasion of privacy trial began on Aug 10.
The jury also ruled that the county must pay Chester $15 million. His wife and daughter died in the crash.
NBA player Kobe Bryant was killed in the helicopter crash on Jan 26, 2020, along with daughter and seven other people.
