LAS VEGAS- A woman who was allegedly brutally raped by California rapper Sky Balla, inside of a hotel, says she suffered severe injuries that made her undergo surgery.
According to an arrest report, the rapper, whose real name is Skye Nathan Branklyn, 41, allegedly raped the victim on June 1 at the Aria.
The unidentified victim went to a hospital on June 4 to be treated for her injuries. It was at the hospital that she told the staff had been raped and they contacted police, who began an investigation.
Investigators were able to get video footage from the bar they attended, and it allegedly showed Branklyn forcing the victim to drink liquor by grabbing her by the head and putting her head down into the drink.
Branklyn was then seen taking the woman’s phone, putting his arm around her and forcing out of the bar.
Branklyn is now facing two counts of sexual assault, one count of battery with intent to commit sexual assault, one count of sexual assault resulting substantial bodily harm and one count of coercion sexually motivated.
