FLORIDA – Video shows the moments leading up to arrest of a 16-year-old teen after he allegedly pulled a gun out on a beach during Spring Break Thursday.
Video shows a group of teens fighting when 16-year-old can be seen pulling a gun out and pointing it at another teen.
As the crowd grew bigger, with shouting and chaos breaking out after someone shouted, “he has a gun!”, police rushed over to arrest the teen who began running.
Police said he threw the gun into the water with a bag he was holding. Minutes later, he was arrested and taken into custody.
Officers found 20 baggies of marijuana floating in the water.
He was arrested on charges that included three counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of a firearm by a person under 18, improper exhibition of a firearm, commission of a second-degree felony with a weapon, resisting a law enforcement officer, two counts of tampering with evidence and sale of marijuana.
