Meek Mill performed last night at the Bet Awards , and brought the staples center down with his heartfelt performance to “Stay Woke” alongside singer Miguel. The stage was made to look like the inner city streets, showing people fighting, and during the performance an audio of a gunshot was played showing a little girl getting hit by the bullet, and dying in her mother’s arm, as a man playing a Police officer throws the American fag over her body. This performance was to bring awareness to the corrupt jail system, gun violence, and Police brutality. During his performance, Meek Mill wore a hoodie with the faces of the two slain rappers XxxTentacion & Jimmy Wopo. Watch the video yourself:
