ASHEVILLE, N.C. : A reward is now being offered in the unsolved murder of a 12 year old boy. Authorities say the boys murder remains unsolved after almost a month according to WSPA and they are asking for the public’s help in solving this murder. Derrick Lee Jr., 12 and an 18 year old were shot in the on the early morning hours of July 1st, after leaving a party. Both of the victims were found in Lee Walker Heights and were taken to the hospital where 12 year old Derrick Lee Jr died. The Ashville Police Department are asking anyone with information about this murder & double shooting to call the Asheville-Buncombe Crime Stoppers at 828-255-5050. The reward is $5000. There are suspects as of now in custody.
