MICHIGAN- Cellphone footage shows the moment a carnival ride spun out of control, as people tried to stop it.
The ride, called The Magic Carpet Ride, at the 95th Annual National Cherry Festival, began to lose control on Thursday, swaying wildly, as 10 passengers held on for their lives.
Festival goers can be seen rushing over to the ride, which had came off of it’s foundation. People grabbed the fencing around the base of the ride, using their weight to keep the ride from falling over.
When the ride finally stopped, all 10 passengers can be rushing to their friends and family as a crowd applauded them.
Luckily, no one was hurt.
The ride was dismantled the following day, reports UpNorthNews.
