Waffle House Employee Fatally Shot By Angry Customer Over Food Order

NORTH CAROLINA – Police are searching for a man who allegedly shot and killed a Waffle House employee over his food order.

Police say Florwer Carlin Lizano, 38, fatally shot 18-year-old Burlie Dawson Locklear III, as he was preparing the suspects food order around 12:40 a.m. on September 13.

Lizano allegedly became upset as his food was being prepared, becoming aggressive with employees, and verbally abusive.

The suspect grabbed his food, returned to his car, turned around and fired two shots in the direction of the business, striking the teen employee, according to reports.

Locklear III was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Florwer Carlin Lizano, Jr., charging him with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Locklear III.

He remains on the run.
