NORTH CAROLINA- A Wendy’s employee died on Friday night after a shooting outside the restaurant that involved a co-worker, police said.
Police said they responded to a report of a shooting at the fast-food restaurant around 5:30 p.m., according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department news release.
When they arrived at the scene, they found J’Karri Anderson, 19, with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a near-by hospital.
The victim did not have a gun.
21-year-old Christopher Franks was arrested and has been charged with first-degree murder.

It’s unclear what the argument was about that led up to the deadly shooting.
