Wildlife manager searching for turtles discovers $1.2 million worth of cocaine

FLORIDA- A wildlife manager surveying for turtles came upon bags of cocaine on a beach.

Angy Chambers was walking along the beach, conducting a turtle survey, when she stumbled across a package wrapped in plastic and tape, that she suspected were drugs.

Chambers found 18 more packages as she continued to walk, as she was waiting for police.

The drugs discovered on the beach totaled about 30 kilograms and are worth about $1.2 million.
