Wine Bottle Left At Scene Where Takeoff Was Killed Had Suspects Finger Prints On It, Prosecutors

HOUSTON- A suspect charged with murder in the death of rapper Takeoff from the group Migos, made a court appearance Monday.

Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, was charged with murder. His bond was set at $2 million after prosecutors claimed he’s a flight risk.

During Clark’s appearance, his attorney asked the judge to reduce his bond to a more “reasonable amount”, according to Click2Houston.

Clark is set to appear in court again on Wednesday.

One of Clark’s attorney’s, Letitia Quinones, claims that Clark did have a passport and a “vacation” planned for Mexico, but it was cancelled prior to his arrest. She disputes that her client was attempting to flee the country, reports Click2Houston.

Police said Clark had a large amount of cash and a passport on him when he was arrested.

Prosecutors said Clark was seen on video pointing and firing a gun in the direction of a group of people. Investigators also said that a wine bottle left at the scene was used to pull Clark’s fingerprints.

A second suspect, Cameron Isiah Joshua, 22, also known as “Lil Cam 5th” was charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon in the case.

Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot and killed at the 810 Billiards in Houston on Nov. 1 around 2:40 a.m. He died from a gunshot wound to his head and torso.
