TEXAS- A woman was arrested after she allegedly pointed a loaded gun at a 7-year-old trick-or-treating, police say.
Police were called to a neighborhood around 7:20 p.m. for a report of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, Fox 7 Austin reported.
Police say Monica Ann Bradford, 35, was yelling at trick-or-treaters outside of her home.
Bradford allegedly came outside of her residence with a loaded gun, and pointed it at the child, who was walking in front of her property, police say.
Neighbors told the news station that the children thought Bradford was handing out candy because her front light was on.
Bradford has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, which is a second-degree felony.
