BOSTON- A woman has been arrested, and charged after robbing her date.
Police arrested Selena Rivera-Apodaca, 24, on Tuesday after police say she robbed a man she met through an online dating site.
The New York Post reports that Apodaca, and the male victim met at a Hyatt Regency, when she pulled out a pink taser that packs 3.5 million volts, and pointed it at him, robbing him of $140.
The victim told hotel security, who then contacted the police.
The man told police that he had met Apodaca through an online dating app, meeting up at the Hotel, where they had a conversation for about 30 minutes before she robbed him.
Police say that Apodaca was uncooperative, and denied knowing the male victim.
Apodaca was charged with armed robbery.
