Woman attempted to kidnap 2 babies; police find kids at her home alone

FLORIDA- A woman has been charged, and arrested after attempting to kidnap two babies in one night.

Police told WFLA, that they have arrested Hannah Braun, 28, who was caught on a Ring doorbell camera knocking on the door to a home on Tuesday, saying “It’s me, Momma — Hannah”, as she seemed intoxicated, swaying back and fourth.

A child surprisingly opens the door to the home, and Braun is seen entering, where she attempted to kidnap a 9-month-old baby from her 12-year-old sister’s arms. The mother heard Braun, chasing her out of her home.

This is where the story gets even crazier.

Braun attempted to allegedly kidnap ANOTHER child, several months ago from the same neighborhood. The 1-year-old’s grandmother told WFLA “She said she was taking care of babies here. … She wanted this baby”.

Police then found 2 children under the age of 5 children, frightened, inside of Brauns home, one even telling police that she “lost her mommy”.

Police won’t elaborate on Braun’s relationship to the kids found in her home.

Braun has been charged with attempted kidnapping, child abuse, burglary with assault or battery and two counts of neglect of a child without bodily harm.
